This programme combines some of the overview the computer science with modules focus on the development of information systems. An information system is a set of people, data, procedures, hardware and software that work together to achieve the common goal of information management. Information management includes the tasks of gathering data; processing the data into reliable, accurate, and usable information; and distributing the information in a timely fashion for use in decision making, problem solving, and control. Information systems exist within organisations in commerce, industry and the public sector.
