Course Objective

1. To familiarize participants on the types of hazards in the oil/ petrochemical industry and the precautions that must be taken to avoid work accidents. 

2. To train participants to be responsible individuals who obey rules and regulations. 

3. Be familiar with the common safety and health hazards in the oil & petrochemical industry 

4. Able to take corrective measures to prevent accidents and injuries in the industry 

Assumed Skills and Knowledge

Learners are able to:

1. Listen, read, speak and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System (ESS) Level 2

2. Manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) level 2
