About this Course

“A place for everything and everything in its place” is the principle of the 5S method. It is the most powerful and fundamental Lean Manufacturing Tool to enhance productivity, quality and safety at the workplace. It is a systemic approach to organize the workplace, keep it clean as well as maintain effective and standard conditions.   

Working in a messy, unorganized and disordered workplace is neither productive nor safe. The key components of 5S are safety and good housekeeping practices. Safety is not only an integral part of 5S, but is also maintained in any 5S implementation.  

Upon completion of this course, participants will acquire the skills and knowledge in practicing 5S techniques and enable them to assist their companies in creating a better and safer working environment as well as increasing productivity.
