About this Course

The Advanced Diploma in Facilities Engineering Management aim is to develop learners to meet the industry demand as a skilled team and expertise to maintain the high tech, complex and dynamic facilities in today’s infrastructure. The organizations are keen to maximise the facility’s full potential, while minimising operation cost. In order to minimise the operation cost, organisations requires facilities engineering and management plan and skill to accomplish.This programme will give opportunity to learners to understand the knowledge to plan and manage building operations and maintenance efficiently. Facilities engineering management implementation will help companies to have smooth operation through the effective maintenance plan and avoid unnecessary breakdown and customer satisfaction. This programme objective is to incorporate the managerial and technical knowledge to the student to effectively solve the problems related to facilities maintenance and effective in decision making.Upon completion of this programme the learners can take up job position as Facilities Manager, Facilities engineer, Technical officer, Property Manager and any related facilities management executive. The participant will learn the post construction process and facilities planning, maintenance programme and cost management, procurement, contract administration, asset maintenance and building equipments & services.

Mode of Assessment

The assessment depends on the nature of the modules. Please refer to the course structure above.

Modules are taught in a face-to-face manner.

Entry Qualification

• Minimum 3 ‘O’ level or equivalent qualification
• Candidate with Certificate in Engineering Foundation or Diploma in civil Engineering  from Greensafe Academy (will be eligible for exemption of minimum 2 to Maximum 6 modules)
• Matured student with more than 3 years relevant working experience will be considered
• Other qualification with experience will be considered case to case basis

Teacher-to-Student Ratio

The Teacher-to-student ratio is 1: 75 (lecture)

Graduation Requirement

Advanced Diploma in Facilities Engineering Management will be awarded by Greensafe Academy upon successful completion of all 9 modules and graduates may use the title AdvDipFEM after their names.

Certification

The Advanced Diploma in Facilities Engineering Management will be awarded by Greensafe Academy Pte Ltd.
